About my practice
My name is Joshua Byrne and I am a qualified, fully accredited psychotherapist. I work with individuals on a range of issues affecting mental health. Examples include depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, work challenges, family conflict and many others.

When you are going through a crisis or have been experiencing an issue for a long time, it can sometimes feel hopeless, like nothing can makes things better. Psychotherapy offers an effective, scientifically validated approach that empowers people to make their lives better.
The hardest part of change is usually getting started. Many of my clients have told me that they thought about trying therapy for years before taking that step to reach out. My advice is to just try it. Start with one session, see how you feel and go from there.

My Approach​
I am an integrative psychotherapist. This means that my approach involves integrating or combining different forms of therapy. I mainly draw from the Person-Centered, Existential and Cognitive-Behavioural schools of psychotherapy. My goal is to find an approach that best serves the client's needs.
